SPECIALISED CARE SERVICES
Our dedicated staff at LJ Sure Mercies Care Limited are carefully selected to ensure they possess the necessary skills to meet your specific needs while minimizing travel distances to ensure prompt and reliable attendance. In addition to our direct support staff, our Registered Manager is available for 40 hours per week, with the majority of hours dedicated beyond the displayed levels. In some cases, the manager may also be included within the staffing levels described, with adjustments made at their discretion based on evolving needs.
We operate on a rotating system to ensure adequate staffing levels with the appropriate skill mix, including weekends and public holidays, providing continuous support when needed. New employees undergo induction training within 12 weeks of employment, including the Care Certificate program. We are committed to developing our employees, aiming for all carers to achieve a QCF level 2 qualification. Annual training in health and safety, including moving and handling, fire awareness and procedures, and adult protection issues, is provided to all employees.
Identifying training needs and opportunities for further development is integral to our supervision and annual appraisal process for all staff and care workers. Health and Social Care training to the required level is readily available to all staff in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act.
